Bordeaux 2002 at seven - tasting notes
See my overview of this fascinating tasting of nearly 120 red bordeaux from the 2002 vintage, including pointers to the wines that seem the best buys. You can see a short video of the tasting held at Farr Vintners' tasting room in south London (pictured) here .
The 2002 vintage is pretty intriguing in view of its relatively low price and because it was not covered in as much detail as usual in the spring of 2003 because the wines were so slow to develop. Indeed there are quite a few wines below that I have not noted before - notably all the Moueix wines, which were not offered en primeur in April 2003.
