The new money behind Oddbins must be hoping against hope that the demise of Thresher/Wine Rack will drive more traffic into their stores, the only chain left on the high street. The intentions of the new regime , Simon Baile and Henry Young, seem absolutely honourable. They genuinely seem determined to offer something of interest to true wine lovers, and to enthuse their staff at the same time.
