Later that same day, Monty added the following:  During  today (Thursday) a number of people connected with Brunello have contacted me regarding the article below asking how much money I was paid to write it. My answer was that I was not paid any money to write it, nor did I ask for money. All of the articles I have written for Jancis on this topic I have done for free.
