Top 1990 and 1982 red bordeaux

Yesterday I reported on a sensational burgundy dinner based on the cellar and generosity of New England wine collector Rick (pictured here in the cellar at Twin Farms with his wife Jan, his wine host Jancis and excellent sommelier Eric  Reichenbach ). The next night he entertained even more people, including all his top staff, to a wonderful comparison of some of the finest mature red bordeaux one can find: tip-top 1990s and 1982s.
