2002 champagnes compared
There seems little doubt that 2002 is an exceptional vintage for champagne. You can find six champagnes based on the well-favoured, intense yet well-balanced 2002 vintage in my selection of 40+ sure-fire fizzes published last Saturday.
I thought I should signal to you that I tasted another couple of top-flight 2002 champagnes on Friday and added tasting notes on them to our searchable database of wine reviews . Although I often add wine reviews to our collection of nearly 50,000 of them without publishing them as part of a tasting article, I thought I should especially signal these as in the current thread on the forum Too cheeky...
