Blatch on Bordeaux 2010 - the vines
This marks the beginning of a strong Bordeaux focus on this site as we go into the 2010 primeurs season. See a 10 years on retrospective of the 2001 vintage later this week, for example. But those with no interest whatsoever in Bordeaux can rest assured that there will be plenty of coverage of other wines too.
William 'Bill' Blatch of Bordeaux négociant Vintex very kindly gives Purple pagers an advance copy of his annual report on the latest Bordeaux vintage each year. This year's report comes out rather later than usual, perhaps because he could hardly trust his enthusiasm for a second year in a row.
