A half century of Bollinger RD in Paris
As you can see from this video , on Friday Champagne Bollinger took the concept of a vertical tasting to new heights. They convened about 50 of us from all over the globe to the Jules Verne restaurant a third of the way (130 m) up the Eiffel Tower for a tasting of half a century of Bollinger RD. The invitees included wine writers as exotic as James Halliday and Nick Stock from Australia and Bob Campbell MW from New Zealand, as well as representatives of EON Productions, the company responsible for all James Bond movies and product placement therein, including Cubby's daughter Barbara Broccoli.
