Spain 2012 - 'weird'

If the word for 2011 in Spain was 'dry', for 2012 it's 'short'. Or maybe 'dry' too. Or could it be 'weird'? I even heard some stronger words that I should not reproduce here, so I can tell you that overall it was not an easy year. The crop has been notoriously short throughout Europe, with reports of 20% to 40% lower yields in certain places. So how was it in Spain? I spoke to winemakers north and south, east and west, to find out just what they think of the 2012 vintage.
