How was 2005 in Madiran?

I've developed a small taste for Madiran wines (thanks to purple pages introducing me to them), and recall you recommended Ch Montus for good non-Bordeaux drinking . Do you know anything about it in 2005? Wine and Co are selling it very reasonably, but say there is no p restige version of the wine this year, and I would like to know if this means it was a poor year, and I should avoid the regular Montus. Any advice would be most appreciated. Sorry to trouble you amongst the busy days of Bordeaux en primeur. Best wishes as always
