Attempt at peaceful Lebanon/Israeli wine tasting fails

A Tasting in the Name of Peace of Lebanese and Israeli wines had been planned at London’s Vinopolis next week, an admirable example of wine’s doing its bit for world harmony. But I’m told that political pressure has been applied to the Lebanese wineries and that they have now withdrawn. What a shame.
