Booths and Asda – David and Goliath

Andy Howard MW continues his review of the UK retail scene with a look at the wines offered by the contrasting players Asda and Booths. 

It may seem unusual to review supermarket giant Asda alongside the small, specialist independent retailer Booths. It could be argued that the only similarities between them are the fact that they both sell ranges of food and wine, and that both have their roots in the north of England.
