7 May – I think we have probably all had enough of this distinctly lacklustre primeurs campaign. In many cases the prices don't seem to have fallen far enough to ignite interest, or bordeaux is generally out of favour, or perhaps bordeaux lovers simply have enough wine in their cellars. Whatever the reasons, this guide will no longer hog the top of our home page. Personally, I am much keener on the recently declared 2011 vintage ports. See my overview and tasting notes.
