Bordeaux – slow to go green

The organic movement is really taking hold in France – as witness the ultimate accolade, the cover story of the May edition of  La Revue du Vin de France (whose tasters managed to find five-star examples of organically grown wine chez Deiss, Zind-Humbrecht, Tempé in Alsace; an Anjou Blanc 2001 from Angeli at Sansonnière recently discussed in your turn, de Villaine and Trapet in Burgundy, Ch La Fleur Cailleau '43' 2001 in Fronsac, Chapoutier in the Rhône and de Souch in Jurançon.
