Jean-Baptiste Lécaillon, Roederer's chef de cave since 1999, was in London recently to present his 25th vertical of the champagne house's most famous wine, Cristal. Born in 1966, he told us that he also oversees Roederer Estate in California, Ramos Pinto in the Douro, Domaine Ott in Provence and Châteaux de Pez, Haut-Beauséjour and Pichon Lalande in Bordeaux.
