Yesterday was the day that we were officially allowed to review Germany's 2008 Grosses Gewächs wines. Michael Schmidt has been diligently tasting a vast number of these wines on our behalf and will be reporting later, but in the meantime, here are some notes from me and, below, Richard Hemming's notes on von Buhl's 2008s and some older vintages.
