Hungary's whites – a progress report

This is the first of two reports by Chris Boiling, Plumpton wine student who has previously reported on the Famoso grape and current trends in Slovenia. See also his progress report on Hungary's red wines

Hungarian wines are imbued with legend. The sweet dessert wines of Tokaj and Bull’s Blood of Eger may be most famous but my favourite is the relatively obscure Juhfark of Somló (pictured below left).
