If you are wondering what to lay down for a baby born in 2003, the answer is vintage port. Long after many a 2003 bordeaux and burgundy, baked by those heatwave conditions, has faded and perished, 2003 vintage port should just be coming into its own as a 2003 baby becomes interested in wine.   I shall be tasting these new vinous babies in early May and will of course report in more detail on these pages.
