2004 - not a great vintage for Sauvignon Blanc

Details just in of Majestic’s further reductions for July got me thinking about the 2004 vintage for Sauvignon Blanc. Pride of place on Majestic’s leaflet is given to Oyster Bay Sauvignon Blanc 2004 Marlborough from New Zealand (£6.99 down to £4.99 if you buy two bottles) and “Exquisite Sancerre” Sancerre, Les Chanvrières 2003/4 Fournier Père et Fils (£8.99 down to £5.99 if you buy two bottles).
