South African wine exporters really want your business. Note these blanket discounts. Tesco have one or two Neil Ellis specials. Yonder Hill's Cabernet/Merlot comes down to £6.79 at Majestic, though stocks are limited.

From 9 to 22 September Tesco are also offering blanket discounts on all Chardonnays and Merlots. See www.tesco.com too.

South Africa

  • Majestic 3 September - 3 November 15 per cent off any two bottles

  • Tesco 28 August - 8 September 20 per cent off any bottle, plus five per cent off six bottles of one wine

Spain

  • Majestic 3 September - 3 November 15 per cent off any six bottles
