Last weekend, we rounded off a most enjoyable barbecue with ice cream and a half bottle of Muscat de Saint Jean de Minervois 1998 from Domaine de Montahuc - quite a name, quite a sticky! It was a delight - quite complex: deliciously sweet but there was acidity/vinosity which made it so much more delicious than other muscats I've had recently. You may remember it as one of the dessert wines you recommended in the Weekend FT a couple of summers ago.
