This grand old man of Libourne died on Friday 28 March and will be buried on Monday 31 March. He was the visionary father of Jean-Francois Moueix of the powerful négociant house of Duclot (Bordeaux Millésimes www.chateaunet.com ) and Christian Moueix who runs the family business in Libourne with its stable of stunning properties including Chx Pétrus, Lafleur, Lafleur-Pétrus, Trotanoy, Hosanna, Magdelaine, etc, etc. There is quite simply no one else in the world of wine with his sort of influence and track record.
