Australian winemaker for Bulgaria
Two previous jr.com stories in one: Linda Domas and associate(s), responsible for the Tunisian Carignan I wrote about recently, has just been hired to make the wines at Stork Nest, the big northern Bulgarian operation being run by larger-than-life Aussie Lou Ghirardello of Deutsche Bank in London (see my recent report on new investment in Bulgaria).
He says, and I quote, 'Thought you might be interested to know that I have just engaged the services of Linda Domas and her associates to run all aspects of winemaking and viticulture at Stork Nest. I am tired of screaming at people who don't want to change.'
