New Zealand's organic wine-growers are hoping that 20% of the nation's 32,000 ha (79,000 acres) of vineyard will be fully organic or biodynamic by 2020. Around 5% of the New Zealand vineyard is currently under certified organic or biodynamic management but if current growth rates continue, this target could be achieved as early as 2015.
