Ausbruch famous wine style of Austria , a speciality of the town of Rust on the Neusiedlersee in Burgenland. Ausbruch is a close etymological relative of Aszú, a term commonly used in Tokaji , where Hungary's most famous sweet wine is made. Tokaji and Ausbruch were probably developed at very much the same time, in the early 17th century. Ausbruch was traditionally made by adding the juice of freshly picked grapes to that of, mainly Furmint , grapes concentrated by noble rot , whose incidence is encouraged by the proximity of the shallow lake and the warm climate of the Pannonian plain.
