St-Emilion classification – what next?

19 May  It seems nothing in Bordeaux is definitive. In May 2009 the French courts ruled that the 2006 classification should be reinstated. The law also specifically permits the six properties promoted to Grand Cru Classé in 2006 (Chx Bellefont-Belcier, Destieux, Fleur Cardinale, Grand Corbin, Grand Corbin Despagne and Monbousquet) and the two promoted to Premier Grand Cru Classé (Pavie Maquin and Troplong Mondot) to retain their new status and use it on labels for the 2006 and 2007 vintages as well for the current vintages.
