NV champagnes assessed
The following are tasting notes on about 80 non vintage champagnes, including all the most common brands (though not buyers’ own brands) tasted mainly in London in mar 05 supplemented by some tasted in the Champagne region in nov 04. They should be the bottlings that are currently in circulation in the most important champagne markets. Most are based on the very weak 2001 vintage and, considering that, quality overall is pretty good.
