How good are BC wines?

I have marked my favourite wines with a *. This tasting was kindly organised by Australian-born wine educator Mark Davidson who collected the samples from his base in Vancouver. I believe he suggested to various wineries that they choose the three wines of which they are most proud. The bottles were kindly shipped down for me by the official BC generic wine body to taste in a private room at the Heathman Hotel in Portland just before flying home to London after a whirlwind trip to the Willamette Valley in Oregon.
