Judgment of Paris re-run - my tasting notes
Here are my tasting notes, as taken last night, in the raw. I shall be giving more behind-the-scenes detail from my ringside seat at this surprising event in purple prose. See inside information for an account of the results once all rankings were pooled.
Important note: My scores from this particular tasting should not be taken as absolutes (e g in normal circumstances I would probably not have given Ch Latour 2000 a score as low as 17 out of 20) but I knew that for the purposes of the tasting, I needed to come up with a ranking, and the only way I could do that was try to ensure that there was at least 0.5 between...
