1995 and 1996 champagnes tasted blind

See Champagne shootout - 95 v 96 for an account of the inspiration for and organisation of this blind tasting held in Epernay earlier this month. The wines were served in flights of alternating vintages, the same wines in both 195 and 1996. (We did not know this at the time - although those two Dom Ps were pretty distinctive.) I have kept the numbers used in the tasting. Wines were chosen by the official organisation, the CIVC, so as to include a full range of houses, small growers and co-operatives. My favourite wines Dom Pérignon 1996 Dom Pérignon 1995 Moët & Chandon 1996...
