He indicates that indigenous varieties 'do not feature large', a conclusion based on the varietal breakdown from the formal statistics. However, these proportions only relate to the introduced varieties, not the indigenous varieties. In fact, plantings are quite extensive - not only of the Longyan and Baiyu but, more importantly, the Shanputao (wild mountain grape) which...
