Austrian Chardonnay
25 Jan 2004 by JR
gero question: I live in Austria and just got your book Wine-tasting in my hands. First: Great book, very valuable infos there!!! but I am missing something - especially in the Chardonnay section the very special-tasting Austrian chardonnays. In comparison to French chardonnay for example, there is way more depth, acidity, and a really long-lasting playful taste. I would like to hear your opinion about Austrian chardonnay because I personally think that we here meet the way you describe chardonnay way better than French wineries....
