Jenny of Singapore: Dear Jancis, it seems that the New World countries are starting to adopt varietals that are traditionally found in the Old World. For example, Sangiovese, Nebbiolo, Nebbiolo etc are now planted in Australia. Someone once mentioned it is varietally incorrect - but what exactly is varietal correctness and incorrectness?
