A 1976 Beerenauslese

I recently was gifted with a magnum(!) of 1976 Bassermann-Jordan Deidesheimer Paradiesgarten Riesling Beerenauslese. I have had the good fortune to sample some Auslesen from this era (purchased at Lavinia in Paris, and served with creme brûlée at Rubicon in San Francisco) and been very impressed with their longevity. The importer for Bassermann-Jordan assures me that the wine will age well for at least another 25 years, but the condition of the bottle is such that I'm nervous to...
