Your recent article on alcoholic strength and drinkability has certainly
(and deservedly) gotten the attention of most winegrowers I have had the occasion to speak to or work with since it appeared.
I daresay I am wading out of my depth here since, while I have tasted quite a few of the historical benchmarks of Bordeaux and occasionally published tasting notes from this region, I do not have a cellar full of such wines for reference....
