Tips for Barcelona, and lone women

I am wondering if you or any other PPers might have some suggestions as to where to go in Barcelona to have a good look at good Spanish wines. I will be there for about 14 days over Easter and would like to taste as many by the glass as is reasonable.
I find, being a woman tasting wine alone is often an added complication - you get odd looks and are never taken seriously! ("This wine is quite sweet - I think you'd like it" etc.) I'd be interested to hear of any little tricks you might have for dealing with this situation.
