How port wins its official spurs

David Lester, Manchester: How does Port get its IVP accreditation? I recall reading somewhere in one of my old wine books (possibly one of yours) that the IVP used a points system to assess vintage ports that the shippers submitted to them. At the back of my mind is the recollection that 117 or 119 points were needed for a submitted port to be granted its status (or whatever the legal term is for this).
