How to decode a champagne label

Robert Jamieson, Hampshire:   I have been given some champagne from a house called Jean de Praisac, of which I have never heard.  Have you ever come across this marque and, if so, can you please tell me what it is like?  Thank you. me:   Never heard of it but a quick Google suggests it was a brand retailed by the Thresher group a few years back.
