Lay & Wheeler respond on storage prices

Michael Keating, London: Continuing on from your article about Lay & Wheeler's high-handed £35 surcharge for cosmetic changes to their cellarage service, their per case charge is increased to £10.56 for 2005, up from the £9.96 advised in your cellarage review earlier this week. I have been buying and storing wines with them for 20 years, and have a feeling they are beginning to price themselves out of the wine market. I suspect this latest ploy will test the loyalty of several clients.  me: Many thanks for updating me about L&W's even higher storage charges. I will update my chart and previous article.
