What about Ornellaia 2001?
Iain Lo, Netherlands: You reviewed Ornellaia wines last year but the latest wine tasted was 2000. Do you have any view on how good the 2001 is? me: I have tasted the 2001 and it is quite exceptionally good, for current and future drinking. Next weekend I'll be publishing an overview of Ornellaia, Sassicaia, Tignanello et al in great vintages from 1985 onwards, plus notes on the 2002 vintage of the first two of these.
