Growers' champagnes continued
28 Mar 2005 by JR
W A Stanton, Delaware: I was pleased when I turned to your column in today's FT . Your philosophy is the same as mine: seek out grower's champagnes. But, alas, your favourites are mostly "bigs" to me. My current house champagne is Paul Goerg blanc de blancs A Vertus. (I don't know your Larmandier-Bernier b de b.) I also use Veuve Hennerick, an Epernay house. Both are $20 or under!  me: Thanks for that. Do also see NV champagnes assessed in tasting notes for a long list of recomended growers' champagnes available in the US.
