Israeli views on Israeli wines

Aeyal Gross, Tel Aviv: Your recent report on the Israeli wine tasting is likely to cause some controversy. Not only because some of the major wineries were not represented, which has nothing to do with your report, but also because of some of the results. Let's put it this way: based on the general reputation, most Israelis will be surprised to discover a wine from Hebron Heights preferred by one of the world's leading authorities over the wines of Amphorae, Golan and Margalit (or Chilag who you mentioned presented wines but whose wines you did not list at all).  I am saying this just based on reputation and tasting notes from...
