Views on bordeaux 2004
Philip Harvey, Poole, Dorset: Having read through the hundreds of your 2004 Bordeaux wine reviews published thus far I can't see than any wine, however bad, has scored lower than 12. As the first ten points are therefore presumably given to a wine just for being the right colour and turning up at the tasting, why not score each wine out of 10 where +/- half a point would be a significant difference in grading and where 2/10 sends a much clearer message than 12/20? me: By the way, I think my total number of 2004 Bordeaux tasting notes is 365, one for each day of the year.
