Ben Greene, Brighton, UK: I wonder if you could help my Grandfather, retired vicar of Petworth, with a question from one of his parishoners which, despite the help of the Oxford Companion to Wine , has me foxed. Here is his e-mail: "Could I trouble you for some scholarly advice? There is a parishoner here who is disturbed by the fact that the present Rector has introduced the use of white wine at the Communion.
