RieslingMan, Seattle: When will someone get round to establishing the link between Pinot Noir and Tempranillo, that many of us feel must exist? Jose Vouillamoz, Switzerland responds: Your subscriber has a "feeling" and seems to be expecting science to prove it. Well, it's hard to say that no one has ever investigated a possible link between Pinot and Tempranillo, but we can say that nothing has been published on this issue so far.
