Prieur Chambertin 1988 and Chardonnays from NZ and California

Martin Nettleton, Yorkshire: I wonder if you might be able to provide some tasting notes for a bottle of Dom Jacques Prieur, Chambertin 1988 given to me for my birthday by a friend recently? Also, on the subject of Chardonnay, whilst in Australia recently we tasted Cloudy Bay and Mount Difficulty 2003 and I was surprised to find that the MD knocked the CB out.  My brother-in-law (a Tooheys man) described the delicious acidity of the MD as a 'tongue dancer', which now features in my tasting notes whenever appropriate!
