Discussing hang time
Patricia , UK : Good on you for bringing up the debate on hang time. My latest Practical Winery and Vineyard dropped on the doorstep just about the same time you penned (typed?) the last big article. Having looked back at Linda Bisson's article on optimal grape quality and Dick Smart's various articles on hang time, I am somewhat surprised that the Californians, anyway, have not yet realised that the rest of this planet doesn't necessarily want monsters, even if Mr P[arker] does.
