What that Supreme Court ruling may really mean

John C Feltz, Dayton, Ohio: The real shakeout on what  yesterday's ruling on interstate shipping  means is still to come - does the Commerce clause really trump the three-tier system, or is this ruling merely a levelling of the playing field between in-state and out-of-state producers?  It' difficult to digest all the facets of this uniquely American issue - culture, constitutional law, and the business practices of 21st century alcohol sales. What I anticipate, in many states, is that ALL direct-to-consumer shipments will be banned, regardless of source.  Don't forget that the middle tier (the distributors)...
