Reactions to the French saying non
Anne Popoff, Toronto: Just a few words on your recent comments on why the French always say non! In the defence of many small(er) winemakers I have met from the various lesser advertised wine regions such as Alsace, Rhône and Languedoc/Vin de Pays d'Oc, I just wanted to say, and I am sure you will agree having met many of them yourself, that these are the new generation of 30-40 year old winemakers who are extremely energetic, professional and quite forward looking!
