Tapanappa's Shiraz?
Shuen Yean Foo, London: I just read your article about the Tapanappa 2003 and was wondering whether the Shiraz in the blend reported should have been Merlot instead. By the way, have you ever tried the 2002 Journeys End, Arrival Shiraz made by Ben Riggs? It's a great wine but is not widely available in the UK. me: Yes I think Tapanappa is envisaged as a Bordeaux blend but the Merlot didn't make the cut in 2003. The Shiraz is not particulalry prominent in the eventual blend.
