Having just returned from a baking hot Barcelona, I found that a visit to Viniteca made it clear to me how little I know about Spanish wines, tending to default to Rueda whites, Pesquera and the wines of La Rioja Alta .
Can you recommend a good, up to date book on Spanish wines?

It's so difficult to be absolutely up-to-date on Spanish wines because, as I said in Great buys in (northern) Spain recently, the picture is changing so rapidly. The most useful illustrated reference in English, with lots of background, is the latest, second edition of John Radford's The New Spain...
